BSA Troop 21 - Summer Camp

Troop 21 will be attending Summer Camp at Camp Cris Dobbins in Elbert, CO from July 12 - 18, 2015 . Camp Dobbins is located at over 7,000 feet on the Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch in Elbert, Colorado. With sweeping views of Pike's Peak and the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, Camp Dobbins is less about 1 hours drive from downtown Colorado Springs ( driving directions ).

Camp Cris Dobbins, a traditional merit badge camp program, offers an outstanding first year camper program, including quality food prepared in the Kephart Dining Hall, tents, and platforms. The perfect setting to enjoy all that Scouting in the Rockies has to offer including horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, Camp Dobbins even has a heated swimming pool! Key information for Summer Camp:

  • Summer Camp Medical Forms - Medical forms are due to the Scoutmaster by June 1st, 2015.
  • Adult Leaders who attend summer camp will need to complete the attached form prior to going to camp.

  • Merit Badges - The window for requesting Merit Badge classes will open sometime early April. Merit Badge prerequisites can be downloaded here. Be sure to read the Merit Badge Books before going to camp.
