BSA Troop 21

Welcome

Welcome to Troop 21 and the family of Scouting.

Since 1910, it has been the mission of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) to serve others by helping to instill values in young people, to prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime and achieve their full potential, and to promote outdoor activities. Troop 21 undertook this mission when it received its first charter in 1946. The Troop has re-chartered consecutively for seventy-five years.

The Scouting program has specific objectives, commonly referred to as the Aims of Scouting.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

LEADERSHIPDEVELOPMENT

CITIZENSHIP TRAINING

PERSONAL FITNESS

Our promise to you is that Troop 21 will provide fun, year round programs that you can join with other boys and their families . The Troop meets on Mondays at 7 PM in the Holy Trinity Church H.O.P.E House. We have about ten weekend outings during the year and we schedule a one-week session at Camp Alexander, Cris Dobbins or another camp during the summer months. If there is enough interest, the Troop will also schedule a high adventure expedition in the future.

The Boy Scouts of America is the nation's foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training. Scouting will:

Offer young people responsible fun and adventure;

Instill in young people lifetime values and develop in them ethical character as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law;
