BSA Troop 21 - About Us

Troop 21 has been serving the boys of Colorado Springs, Colorado

and the surrounding community since it received its first charter in 1946.

The Troop has re-chartered consecutively for seventy-four years.

Since 1910, it has been the mission of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) to serve others by helping to instill values in young people, to prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime and achieve their full potential, and to promote outdoor activities. Troop 21 undertook this mission when it received its first charter in 1946.

No Boys in the House? How Can I Help?

Troop 21 is always looking for volunteers. Use your skills and experience to be merit Badge Counselors, members of the troop committee, adult quartermasters, medics, communications chair, treasurer, or Assistant Scoutmasters.

We do understand that your time is valuable. But we need your help to make this the best year of scouting ever.

We have many opportunities for parents to help prepare and deliver our multiple and varied programs. We ask one adult from every household to commit to serving on one project and/or committee during the year. Your role could involve just a few hours over a 3 to 4 week period, or could be a greater commitment should you so choose.
